First week of school for adult’s and children’s
classesSeptember 21, 23 – 27, 2025

About Our School:

Children’s classes are held in person at the Polish Home on Saturdays from 10:00 AM
to 12:00 PM.
We accept children starting from 3.5 years old into our preschool group.
For children who have not yet attended school or daycare, we invite them
to introductory classes to support a smooth transition.
Children must be at least 3 years and 6 months old when school begins.
Along with age, we also look for signs that your child is ready for this exciting step—such as
being comfortable in group settings, following simple routines, and joining in weekly activities
with curiosity and joy.
Our youngest learners enjoy classes filled with free play, circle time, group games, table
activities, and a cozy snack break.
It’s a wonderful way for your child to start their adventure with the Polish language while
having fun, making friends, and building confidence!

Adult’s classes take place online on weekdays, once a week, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Class groups will be created during the first week of September, and enrolled students will
receive further details at that time.

The Juliusz Słowacki Polish School is located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood in the historic Polish Home building. Our students are children from Polish and “mixed” families, as well as English-speaking adults. Under the guidance of dedicated, experienced teachers they learn to read, write and speak Polish. They also learn about Polish history, traditions and culture. The classes are taught in a pleasant atmosphere, but with a serious approach to the material.

We welcome everyone who wishes to learn Polish in Seattle.
